Detailed review-One year later

This desk is great!Pros:-It has plenty of room, and can be put in many places thanks to the part of the desk that swings out instead of being fixed in one spot. I have mine swung out the whole way so it goes in a straight line (almost double the length), and it's like having two desks instead of one.-It seems to be able to hold a lot of weight, but I wouldn't recommend sitting on it.-Looks great, very modern.-Came with everything needed to put it together.-Pretty sturdy.Cons:-There was a mistake in manufacturing that made one of the holes be about a foot away from where it needed to be... that made things a little bit difficult while trying to put it together. After struggling for a while, we made it work, but it shouldn't have been that difficult on that one part.-The table tops scratch a bit. Not too easily, but easily enough. I've had the desk for about a year now and there are several scratches on the top, but they are hard to see and there aren't too many. One year later: still a great desk, still sturdy, still looks good, and I would still recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Cheapest furniture item I have EVER put together.

Where do I start?? I have built so much furniture from desks to chairs to shelves to beds to dressers. You name it, I’ve built it. Amazon, IKEA, wayfair, everywhere. And this was by far the WORST I have ever put together. The holes do not line up. The instructions have 4 steps as 1 step. The folding part is wobbly. The product came with cracks and chips. Etc. However, when I bought it, it was on sale for $50. Which is an okay price. You get what you pay for. But to bump it to $90+ is CRAZY. Do not buy this desk. I would rather build 300 beds with a ton of parts than rebuild this desk with 7 parts.

2022 update: I did buy a second one. We use them daily and they have been moved all over our house. They are holding up great! I would recommend it. 2020:Great little desk. There was 1 mismatched hole in the desktop (which didn't impact the integrity of it at all) and 1 screw that the hex head was cut wrong and mildly broken. Had 2 screws that required a 5/32 wrench instead of the 4mm that comes with it because the heads are not machined well in the screws. The threads were great and they are plenty strong. The "L" part is a bit wobbly when extended but only while actively moving it. Plenty strong to hold whatever. I couldn't have asked for better quality or more versatility. I'd buy a second one. I'd give it 4.6 stars...only due to the lack of quality control in the hardware.

This is pretty good design for small spaces which is first place I bought it.Design - A+ / 5 starLook and feel - A+ / 5 StarQuality - B+ /3.5 star (please check review below).Durability - A / 4 starValue for money - A / 4 starPros:Package came intact without any parts missing. As I mentioned the biggest plus point is compact design adjustable for small/large room pretty easily once assembled.Nice looks after assembled.Cons:It is bit tough to build for newbee.... All instructions provided but could have been more detailed or a video could help. One of the key part was faulty identified almost while completed assembly, which got me deadblock. I called customer service and they were pretty responsive and helpful to get part number and reorder same for me. Though it took 1 week for part to come and my desk / office room was mess till then.Little wobbly by design itself, might be more suitable for hard surface ( I have it on carpet).
Great compact desk, easy to assemble

This desk was obviously designed to be light, so when I purchased it I assumed it wouldn't have the same stability as a solid oak desk - easily movable and compact is exactly what I was looking for. The desk is extremely easy to assemble with some patience.I wanted to wait on reviewing it, because you never know how the months play out. I wanted the desk because my bedroom is also a music studio, and I needed to make room for my Z-shape keyboard stand. It works out perfectly. The keyboard sliding rack is more solid than you would get out of any desk - it's secured above the two bars holding both sides together. Genius design, honestly.I also bought it for height because my gaming chair sometimes loses air (darn hydraulics!!). A shorter desk works out well, especially since I enjoy flight sims. My rudder pedals thank me for it.

Not easy to assemble...

This was the most difficult thing that I have ever assembled, and I assembled all of the furniture in my place except for my bedroom set and lounge chair! I was crawling around on the floor and on my back working over my head like I was doing an oil change... It took me about 4 hours to assemble. One side of the keyboard trade slide was damaged, and didn't fit correctly, so I had to cram it in there and tighten it down... needless to say, it doesn't slide; it is permanently fixed in place. Also, there was a dent on the side table. But, my company shipped everyone who works in the office to work at home, which I didn't know would happen the very next day, so I needed a desk fast! It got here within 4 to 5 days. It was also important to me that it be wide, because I work with dual monitors, and they sent me home with a laptop in place of a tower. There is plenty of room on the top for these, and the laptop fits on the side table. They keyboard tray is a full size with enough room for a mouse to be used comfortably... unless you use your mouse with your left hand. I had to make myself an extension with a clipboard and lots of duck tape. It is very much oriented for a right-handed person. The table is very easy to move, doesn't get stuck on my carpet, and extends all the way out to make a straight table. All in all, it was actually exactly what I was looking for, and I was able to fix what wasn't working for me, and it was delivered quickly. It's not easy to put together, you have to do one of the steps out of order, and you'll get tendonitis from the allen wrench, but it's worth it.I took pics, but the app isn't giving me an option to add them.

Pretty neat desk

Once put together, the desk is pretty neat, The actual table pieces are hard and heavy with a nice finish, just like you would want and expect. The support pieces are, I would say part aluminum, part metal, rating sturdiness on 1-10 (1 being a cardboard box, and 10 being a brick) I would rate it a solid 5. You definitely are not going to want to lean up against this thing, or use it as leverage to stand up, however it holds all your devices nicely and overall is a good desk, no worry of collapse, unless previously stated, putting your body weight on it.Construction of the desk was, a pain to say the least. This (and the overall sturdiness of the desk is where it loses a star.. You will need a phillips head screwdriver, but only for 4 tiny screws to screw in the keyboard panel, other than that, it becomes very annoying with an allen wrench (provided) to connect all the pieces together. Once you are done, you have an extreme sense of accomplishment.Unlike most DIY items these days, this items was nicely designed, you are not forced to fit square objects into oval holes. Everything fits together rather nicely and the tiny bits and pieces that come with it are not a tiny baggy of a mess, it is properly labeled in sealed individuals sections attached to cardboard backing with the items numbered. It is a very nice execution, and for the price, it is a very sweet desk.I recommend building it with a girlfriend/boyfriend or a buddy to have a bit of fun and maybe a few drinks afterwards.I would buy this product again.
