Rachael Ray 15" Salad Bowl

This was more attractive than I expected. It's also much bigger than expected. You could put a lot of salad in this bowl; enough for a good sized party I think. Better suited to something that has volume, such as popcorn. Really good for serving a large quantity of just about anything. The only problem with this is because it is stoneware and very thick, it's quite heavy. I think it is too heavy to be practical for many people. If you are young and muscular, it won't be a problem for you. If older and weaker, you might find it a bit difficult to lift. I don't think a serving dish has to be this heavy. Great for a picnic with high winds. This bowl won't move around or easily be knocked over. It's not going anywhere, due to it's weight. If the weight is not a issue, you should like this bowl quite well, especially when you want to serve a good sized quantity of something.
