Cuisinart 17"x13" Roaster w/Rack

My review is based off of ONE use and I cooked a 21 lb turkey. The pros: the handles are nicely positioned. They do not stick out very much so I was not worried it would not fit in my oven. They also made it easier to lift the turkey. I find that pans with handles that stick out are not as stable nor sturdy. The biggest con though is the ease of cleaning. I did not need to soak this pan at all. A simple wash with dish soap and a sponge did the trick. Love that. The cons: given the Cuisinart name and reputation, I expected better quality. To start, the bottom scratched easily. Not just light scratches, but deep scratches that went through the finish. Now, it is the bottom so is it a big deal? Normally no. But at the price I paid? I expected it to make it through at least one use without too much damage. The second issue is again, scratches. However, these scratches are on the inside, caused by the rack. Deep, through the finish scratches just as bad as the bottom. There were also small scratches in the corners where the rack sat. These inside are a bigger deal to me because once the inside is scratched, it is the beginning of the end for a pan. I can see this being a good pan if you don't use the rack, but that kind of defeats the purpose for me. I really wanted to like this pan, but it will probably go back.
