Oneida 65-Piece Flatware Set

I love this pattern from Oneida! It was just as pretty in person. I was impressed by the weight of the pieces. It feels expensive and nice. I saw some reviews where people complained about how long the fork is but I did not even notice that. Nice and elegant pieces and we are really enjoying it. It did just fine in the dishwasher as well.

Wow, I love this set! Just got it and have already used them. Not sure why a couple of people were not happy with this set, but it is lovely and I have owned very nice flatware before and this is my favorite. I have a silver set and compared them and Mandolina can easily be used for formal gatherings as well. The pieces are sturdy, not too heavy, elegant, timeless, and clean beautifully. The large fork tines are a bit long, but I got used to them on my first bite, the stainless feels great, well done!! I had an Amazon representative help me order from a highly reputable seller who sold them to Amazon for Amazon to ship the set to me. This way Amazon had control of my order, in case something was not right. Very pleased, highly recommend.

I shopped around a bit before deciding on this set, and I am very pleased with it -- it's an aesthetically pleasing design, quality seems great, and I like that it's a complete setting for 12. For the price and quality, this set came with more table settings than other sets I looked at. I like that the 12-person setting means I would have enough cutlery for a dinner party. I bought this as an upgrade from my cheap 10-year-old flatware set that I bought when I first moved out on my own. I hadn't fully noted how beat up and grayed that set looked until I saw the new stuff, which is a huge improvement. The pieces have a substantial weight to them and are very attractive, with a design that isn't too ornate for everyday but would also look good in a formal setting. My set came very nicely packaged in the Oneida box with every utensil individually plastic wrapped; I was pleased with the presentation. I did make sure to count that there were 12 of everything given the couple negative reviews complaining of mismatched sets and missing items, and my set was as expected. Each piece is also stamped with the Oneida logo and bears the 18/10 mark.

This is some of the best quality flatware I've found anywhere - and a great deal besides. I looked long and hard at a number of choices, before settling on this set. Complete enough to satisfy most peoples needs. The only thing to be aware of is that this is full-sized; not 'dainty' or delicate flatware. Very comfortable to hold and use, for most people, but may feel a bit large to small hands. Also, will not fit some dishwasher flatware holders (like mine) - had to remove the slotted basket tops, but no big deal. Super solid - will not bend or warp - and the 18/10 stainless holds the finish extremely well.

Love this silverware and no rust. Very pretty, sturdy and easy to hold. Knives are great to spread butter/cream cheese. Cleans and dries well in the dishwasher. Would definitely buy again.

I love this pattern, so I ordered a set for my vacation home. The first set was fine, however, second set had 6 out of 12 knives with rough spots & black in the grooves of the handles. So now I am debating whether to try another set, or order a different brand. They are a perfect weight, shiny and attractive pattern, honestly value was good too. I love the European size of the utensils, they are comfortable and easy to hold.

I debated for weeks, checking out product and reading reviews. My old set was about 40 years old. It was time for a new set. As this set looks so much like my old set I decided on this one. I counted all are there. The shine is just so beautiful. They are just a little heavier than the set I had before this one. I got the set for 12 and am very pleased. The knife has a slight serated edge and is just a little longer than the old sets knife. I gave 2 stars on the light weight because they are not light weigt. The are a very nice weight with a very unique feel of quality. I am soooo happy with my new silverware. Although they are a bit on the pricey side, I would still highly recommend these as they will last you a life time.

I inherited my mother's vintage china from the early 60's. I got the silver flatware that went with it but the china is for 12 and the silver is for 8. I wanted to update the china and make it more mine. I wanted a vintage looking flatware to complement it and keep the look I grew up with. I really like the Mandolina pattern. I liked the weight, and I liked that the flatware was a bit bigger than most. I don't like small forks when I eat as I am a male with hands that are not small. I like the fleur de lis worked into the pattern as that is my favorite symbol. My inherited silver and the Mandolina pattern are fairly close in look. I would recommend this pattern to anyone who wants an elegant look for their vintage china or to just make a statement when your guests see your table. I love it.
