Great product that's worth the great price
By Preston on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2018
After searching far and wide for a bar cart, I finally started looking for "coffee" or "kitchen" carts which definitely yielded the results I wanted. I was looking for a cart big enough to store liquor (and be able to hide it from site if need be), bar utensils, and glasses. This cart is is perfect for all of those things. I just put it together today, so the durability cannot be reviewed, but after putting it together, rolling it around, and handling all the parts I suspect it will last quite awhile with moderate care. First I would like to address the other reviewers, and the negative reviews I read (notably 2), which caused some hesitancy before purchasing. Too hard to put together: Although the instructions aren't great and can be unclear at times, It did not take me long at all. I put this together by myself, (with the exception of flipping it over) and I was done within an hour and a half. Of course, with any assembly project, there will be a bit of confusion with the instructions, and inevitable frustration. However, with how nice it looks I am quite pleased. It does come with an hex key, which is helpful, I think there a total of 22 hex screws that utilize them. 20 out of 22 are super long, and would take forever with the hex key. I fortunately have a hex bit on my screwdriver that happened to fit which saved a ton of time. Just a small pro-tip. Product came damaged or with missing pieces: My cart came with the exact number of screws, bolt fasteners, etc. and nothing was damaged. There was one piece that was kind of dirty, probably from the manufacturing plant, but nothing a wet paper towel couldn't quickly wipe away. I was fortunate that none of my wood was split, or cracked and everything looked great. IF this does happen I suggest reaching out to as many avenues as possible. (Amazon, the seller, the manufacturer, etc.) Even within the Amazon website, there is a link to report missing/damaged pieces. Frustrating yes as you want to put it together right away, but it should be resolved. I will now go on to my own pros and cons of this product. This is very much my opinion, but I will try to be as neutral as possible so you can make your most appropriate decision. PROS: Arrived on time, which was within a few days of ordering. Shipping box was in decent condition, but the actual product boxes were in great condition Overall, pieces are of great quality. The parts that take on weight and stress, are strong, solid pieces of wood. Fits together well, and screws were lined up better than expected. (Especially after seeing reviews). Wheels are incredibly sturdy, and allows the cart to roll well. Top of the cart is a sturdy, nice looking light brown that came undamaged, and looking great. CONS: The instructions aren't wonderful, and with the pieces not labeled with little stickers, you have to take some time to decipher the hieroglyphics on the page to find the correct pieces. Shelves are not adjustable. They are either in, or they are not. I have only one shelf in, (see in pictures) as my bottles are too tall for the cabinet, and some of my glasses wouldn't fit on the exterior shelves. Wine, or Torani syrup bottles will not fit standing up unless a shelf is removed. The drawer is not on a track, and just kind of slides wood to wood. So far it comes out smoothly and easily, but I do fear that this could eventually becomes an issue. I think adding maybe small pieces of fabric may help it slide better. These cons are pretty minor to me, and are not enough to bring my to score of 5 stars down. For the price, (I paid $139) It not only looks like it probably cost more money, but the overall quality truly feels expensive. Super pleased with the purchase, but I encourage to think critically before purchasing. Are the cons I stated more important to you? Or maybe for the price you would like a bigger cart with a better assembly guide? Additionally, look at the reviews with only 1 star, and articulate these comments in comparison with my own. Happy shopping, and if I think about it, I will submit a quick update after some time has passed to update on the quality/durability, and how long it is lasting me. Thanks!

Mediocre Build Quality - Easily Broken
By RedBassett on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2016
This cart looks good and is sized well. It works even in a small kitchen, and has a good number of shelves. The build quality, however, is lacking. The back and side paneling is very thin a flimsy, which isn't a huge issue once assembled, but it does make assembly a bit difficult. The top drawer simply has wooden rails, no metal drawer runners with bearings, and can be very stiff, especially once it has weight in it. The drawer is also a little too shallow for common kitchen implements, requiring larger measuring cups to be laid completely flat to fit, and limiting other implements that can be stored there. The door is of an ok weight, however the hinges and magnetic catch are both lacking. I was unable to get the magnet to line up properly, so the door doesn't actually latch, and the hinges are very stiff, requiring some effort to open and close, and causing the door to spring open a small amount due to the missing strength of the latch. All of these factors make it a reasonable piece for the money, as long as you do not expect a high quality piece of furniture. The issue I ran into that would make me not recommend this product, however, come with installing the casters. I held off a few months after assembly, but recently tried to install the casters. Two of the casters seated into their respective legs fine, two did not. Seating only halfway in is normal for this type of peg-mount caster. Typically, you would flip the cart over, set it on the casters, and simply apply a little weight to firmly seat the casters. Doing this with this cart however, split one of the legs. If you do purchase, be extremely careful how you mount the casters, if your choose to. The legs cannot take too much weight and the assembly process may not leave you with a "new" looking piece of furniture.
