The perfect school lunchbox!
By Julia on Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2014
This is the perfect lunchbox. I have 4 small children and I prepare lunches for them every day to avoid the fat drenched, soggy and salty offerings of school lunches. I am able to give them healthy options with enough variety to last a whole school year. The removable dividers make the boxes very versatile. The boxes hold a ton of food. In fact, for school, I use only two of the three boxes with thin ice packs between them (no room for ice packs if you use all three boxes). There is plenty of room for all the food they could possibly eat in the two boxes. They are deep enough to hold a sandwich stacked in two halves, half a piece of fruit, but I usually serve cut up bits of fruit, nuts, cheeses, crackers. My husband uses the same lunchbox with the previous night's leftovers in one box and a snack in the other. The boxes do just fine in the microwave and dishwasher with very minimal warping and discoloration after using the things for 2 full years. I will say that there is no water tight seal between compartments inside the box, so there can be some mixing. The only time we have had a problem is when I have placed yogurt and granola in separate compartments of the same box. In its defense, the box was swung around wildly (in typical 9 year old boy fashion) on the way to the school cafeteria. The seal on the rim of the boxes is extremely good. I have taken soups to work without any problem, it is just the inner removable compartments that are not completely isolated. The lunchboxes are expensive, but well worth the money. Also, they lasted us for two school years. I just purchased new ones because the outer cover has gotten dirty and worn out (probably because I tried to wash them) on two of them but the lock and lock boxes are still just fine. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Functional but very cheaply made...

I have a set of red color lock & lock square lunch box set that is made in Korea. But this set of containers in blue color is made in Vietnam! Very cheaply made product! Much lighter and flimsier, you could easily tell the differences. I wouldn't pay that much for this set!

Makes packing my lunch easy. I do not eat a lot in one meal so I find myself trying to find snacks to put in the other container. I can place the whole bag in my work fridge without taking up a lot of space. Only thing I don't like it the top part. It's gotten pretty dirty from handling and I don't know how to clean it. $18 would be fair price for this product.
Great for school lunch.

My Kindergartner loves this for school lunch. She takes 2 of 3 boxes and then there is room in the back for a juice box and gogurt. The dividers are nice for a handful of goldfish, grapes, etc. a box w/o dividers is just perfect for a sandwich...can put 2 PBJ sandwiches stacked. There is a small mesh pocket inside top for napkins, silverware or icepack.
Perfect!

It's cute, and the size is perfect! I really love the three containers that it comes with, the lids lock on and I never have to worry about anything spilling out.
works as advertised
