Sanibel Side Chairs

Two stars reads "I don't like it" when in fact, I love these chairs. I watched and waited for 8 years to buy them! My husband finally let me buy two sets with his Christmas bonus to match a pair almost exactly like them which we purchased through Lowes eight years ago. I felt sure about the purchase and the Safavieh company name because the Lowe's Safavieh chairs are still beautiful and sturdy. The new sets arrived January 4th, 2017, as promised, and looked gorgeous. Knowing how long I'd wanted them, my children told me over and over for days how happy they were for me to finally have a matching dining set. The chairs were really comfortable, and we got tons of compliments on them at first, but in only two months time, the weave has broken out in the middle of two of the seats, and tonight I discovered that one leg on a third chair is cracked and broken right where it meets the base of the seat. Thankfully, my daughter noticed it when she was vacuuming, so we were spared an accident with someone falling. I am heartbroken over this waste of money. This was a big purchase for us and we won't be able to make another investment anytime soon. I'll try putting pads on the two with the cracked seats to extend their life a little, but I can't see how to fix the one with the broken leg since the wicker is attached to it. No one in my family is heavy and we are good stewards of our things because we want them to last. None of these chairs should have broken. This is clearly a matter of poor workmanship or materials or something... I am so disappointed. Only one out of four new chairs is still intact and we've only had them for two months. These are beautiful to look at, but a heartbreaking waste of hard-earned money.
