I liked these towels and they felt substantial when I used the large bath one. Most towels do a good job of getting you dry but I noticed these ones do absorb the water well - you don't feel like your towel is getting damp as you finish drying yourself like some towels can. I picked these towels because other Reviewers thought they were also good value and I am sick and tired of the cheap crap you sometimes get in the stores. It really is a case of paying for what you get. Most towels look nice and plump on the shelves in the beginning, so I was pleased to see the laundering didn't break their texture and softness after washing. WARNING: Be careful not to wash these with other colors, though, as they shed lots of fluff and contaminate other items in the load! I'd recommend these towels to anyone who does not want to spend a fortune but at the same time wants a reasonable quality set and some durability. For families or roomies, you can get different colored sets, so there's no fighting over whose towel belongs to who. I will update the review if I notice something else as I continue to use them. UPDATE: March 2014. I purchased the towels described above in two colors, Cream and Burgundy. Unfortunately, the Burgundy towels are also made by Pinzon but are described on each Towel Label as "Egyptian Cotton Loop" and they are absolutely dreadful. They shed constantly and after 3 months and maybe 6 washes, they shed red fluff everywhere - even when they are being used in the bathroom. I just pulled them out of the Washer and they have covered red speckles all over the other laundry items, especially black and blue items. For God's sake, stay away from these crappy Burgundy "Egyptian Loop" towels. Sorry to anyone who may have been fooled by my rosy review above - the review above still holds true for the Cream colored Towels, or if you wash the burgundy towels with no other colored items in the same wash.
