Does the job. Good quality. Professional look. Extra purchase required for use on hard floors.

Does the job. When I was looking around for speaker stands I was surprised how expensive they were and how limited the options are for budget stands that could actually hold speakers that weighed more than an piece of paper. I really didnt want to pay more than like 30 bucks per stand but after looking around for a while looking at adjustable height options I kept coming back to these simply because of the price, they were the height I needed and could hold my 15 pound bookshelf speakers. I got 4 of them for my surround system. Easy to assemble. Was confused about the rubber o ring and whether it needed to go above or below the bottom plate but I think I put it in the right spot between the two bottom pieces. Wish the instructions would have clarified that better. I was also worried about using these stands on my hard floor because other people were saying they use metal spikes for the bottom and they were right so I bought a pack of felt pads and stacked them 3 layers high to get the height I needed to clear the bottom and leave room for wires as you can see in my pics. Works great on my hard floors. They really should include thick felt pads in the box to use instead of the metal spikes. The felt pads are an absolute must if you're planning on using these stands on hard floors. I used gorilla double sided tape to stick my speakers to the stands and they are stuck on there good now. Another thing I noticed was the platform at top of the stands weren't all 100% even with each other. Some were rotated a few degrees off axis which seems to be a quality issue with where the holes are predrilled. Wish I took a pick when I had the assembled and lined up. So if you attached your speakers and lined them all up some would be rotated slightly and uneven. So it would be best to get the stands in position and line up your speakers before attaching them permanently. But in the end it didnt bother me anyway as my speakers overhang the platform due to their size and I lined them up before attaching them to the stand. The quality of the stands themselves seems to be well made and sturdy. They aren't wobbly and stand up pretty well. Overall happy with the purchase. Wish they were cheaper tho

The Good ,bad and the Ugly
By Dwyatt on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2018
The Good - the paint finish is nice and the bottom support has a cool patterned laminate on it. Good height for my TV. Like the ability to pass the speaker cables through the tube to hide them. Good price. The Bad - The design doesn't allow you to put this on a hardwood floor without using these cheesy plastic pegs. Raises the whole thing up by almost an inch. Looks goofy that way. Probably ok on carpet. You have to use these pegs - no other choice. The sticky pads they give you to keep your speakers from walking off the support are double sided adhesive. I don't want to stick my nice speakers to this thing. They should have included one sided adhesive pads. The Ugly - The top and bottom welded plates are crooked. I mean really bad. That makes the whole thing lean at a very noticeable angle. I had to cut cardboard shims and put them between the bottom plate and the bottom support to get the thing to stand straight. Crazy. Also, If you use the top plate pre-drilled holes, the top plate is skewed with the bottom plate. I had to drill new holes to get the top and bottom plate to line up square with each other. Both stands were exactly the same - crooked and skewed. High quality China craftsmanship. Other that that they are great - lol.
