Cuisinart Portable Blending/Chopping System

I had bought refurbished products before without any problems. My Blender arrived on time from Amazon Prime however after unpacking and plugging in the blender would not work. I tried several outlets thinking perhaps something was wrong on my end. Alass the blender would not work. After going around with Amazon over how to return the blender Amazon agreeded to issue a pick-up ticket for UPS after a little arm twisting on my part. So the product sat Thrusday and Friday and still no ticket so I called them back on Monday afternoon after yet another day of picking up only to find that the customer service rep that I had talked to the week before failed to follow through on the ticket so another one was issued and I waited another day for a pick up. In the meantime I ordered and received a blender of another brand that works beautifuly. I know that one takes a chance on refurbished but you would think that the product would be checked and at least in working order before it left the warehouse. I do feel that Amazon droped the ball on customer service in this case. I'll continue to order from Amazon and I'll think twice before ording anything refurbished in the future.
