Cuisinart Over the Sink Colander

Any colander that can fit over the sink instead of sitting down inside it is worth it's weight in gold. However, there are a few problems I have with this one. The handles "stick" a bit when you pull them out or collapse them. If draining something that will stick to the metal (including cooked pasta), be prepared to spend some time getting the "bits" out of mesh with a toothpick or something else small. The dishwasher won't do, and neither will a sponge or cloth. After washing, you can expect a little water to get stuck in the "chambers" where the handles slide in, and you have to shake the colander a bit to get most of it out.All-in-all, I'm happy I bought it. But it's probably best for cleaning fruit and veggies, not draining pasta.
