Genuine Instant Pot SS Inner Cooking Pot, 6QT

I don’t understand why it doesn’t fit. It’s too tall. It’s for the 6 qt but my pressure lid will not close. Why are they so different? These are official InstaPot inside pots bc I checked on their official webpage. They changed the look of it apparently. I wondered if it was official myself but it is. I would say they’ve dropped their original quality of it. Now, I haven’t used it yet, I was debating on returning but that’s it, there is nothing else so I guess I’ll keep it and use it for slow cooking or steaming. This is disappointing, I bought mine in 2019, and use it almost daily. It’s been a workhorse for us and have only needed to replace the outer rim. I guess they changed the model of it, IDK but I hope it holds up seeing some other reviews. I looked it over well and it seems good, good quality. I have the 2 lids, one for cooking and the silicon storage, they both fit perfectly. Maybe not quite up to standard w the original but good, solid. I’ll update if it corrodes etc. but looks like I’ll keep it
