This kit upgraded the bowl flawlessly

If you made the same mistake I made in buying the K&H CleanFlow without the reservoir and want to upgrade, I can verify that this kit is the perfect match, it fits perfectly. I call it a mistake in not getting the bowl with the reservoir in the first place because it is significantly cheaper together, and the reservoir, in my experience, is necessary. I feel it is necessary because once the water gets below a very high level, the pump starts burping air, and it makes a loud "CHOK....CHOK..CHOK CHOK CHOK...CHOK" when it gets starved of water. Invariably this occurs at 3 am, and you can't ignore the noise, plus it will ruin the pump if it goes on too long. So, do yourself a favor, and protect your investment in the otherwise superb water bowl and upgrade to the reservoir. JW

Tricky advertisement, had me buying something different then I thought.

The item itself, is just the water tank, but the advertisement, makes it seem like you are buying the entire item, not just the tank. I guess it is my fault for misunderstanding what the conversion kit actually was, but buyer beware, you are not getting a water fountain for your pet. If you don't believe me, compare this ad to the ad for the actual fountain, they are identical except for one sentence at the the top that says it is a conversion kit for the fountain. Bad advertising!
