Cole & Mason Electric Pepper Mill

Have had many different types/brands of electric grinders, this one is worth the extra money, much better built than most and works great.

This functions well. I purchased this so I can have fresh ground pepper without having to use two hands to work the mill. I, invariably, find myself in the middle of seasoning raw meat before I remember to grind my pepper. With this, I don't have to stop and wash my hands first. I keep one hand clean for retrieving the spices and use the other hand to rub the dry spices into the meat. It doesn't put out as much ground pepper as quickly has I had hoped, but it works for my purposes. Also, it doesn't hold many peppercorns. The clear section on the picture is the size of the peppercorn section. The remainder of the mill is batteries and mechanics.

Really not worth it. Clumsy to operate with poor results. Very disappointed in the whole "value for your dollar" thing.

Ordered the matching Cole & Mason Greenwich salt & pepper mills...salt worked as expected but the pepper did not. Amazon easily replaced the pepper mill but the second one didn't work either. Tried several different kinds of peppers but none worked...after closer inspection saw that the grinder was simply not in alignment so sent back and ordered the Peugeot elis sense set and super pleased (found it to be a much superior product and worth the additional cost).

I had another Cole and Mason electric salt and pepper mill set for a few years. The pepper mill broke twice, so this set is a replacement. This Greenwich set actually feels more solid. I've used it already and am happy with my purchase.

Works pretty well and is easier to load than others I've had. The one problem is that grinding the pepper requires a very hard press on the button at the top, making it uncomfortable to use.

Good-looking mill which can be adjusted from fine to coarse grind. Makes a nice gift with Penzeys brand different kinds of peppers for a robust taste treat. Great gift for a grill master.

The pepper version was perfect, but the salt version must have been damaged in packing. Flemsy tabs that connect the grinder head to the salt container were damaged. It still works, but should be bullet-proof for the price. Not even going to try for a replacement based on other reviews.

The Cole & Mason Greenwich Pepper mill grinds the pepper corns (electricly) using only one hand which is important to me because I only have one hand that works.
