Good quality cushion really helped ease my sciatica and hip pain
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2025
I love the durability of this cushion. I am very heavy and it holds up to my weight. Yes it does go a little flatter some but that's good as it adjusts to my needs and doesn’t feel too hard on my legs when I sit. What impresses me is that the thickness rebounds when you get up. It takes time to learn where to place it on various chairs but I like the size as it allows me the ability to move it around on different type chairs to find the most comfortable spot. My first one was given to me as a gift. The price made me nervous to buy my own but after using the one I received as a gift daily at work for months where sit for 8 hours a day I didn't hesitate to spend the money on a second one for home. The first couple of days when I used it took some getting used to. Then after a week I realized the huge improvement I had with my sciatica pain and that's why I bought a second one to carry with me everywhere I go. Also the cover is very durable. Good support, good quality, good size, non-slip bottom and not hot to sit on.

Just "okay" for this person weighing 300 pounds
By Frances on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2016
My review will probably only be applicable to people who weigh over 270 pounds. It is possible that someone who weighs less will have greater success with this product. 3 stars means "It's okay," and that's exactly how I feel about the cushion. While making many college road trips for my daughter this past summer, and being quite overweight, I developed a painful tailbone condition. I purchased this cushion to use on some additional road trips. It was not clear, when I read the reviews and product descriptions, if this cushion would be suitable for someone weighing 300 pounds, but I was in a hurry to get something before our next road trip and it was highly rated by SO many people so I went ahead and purchased it. I had already purchased a completely useless coxxyx cushion from the drugstore for $30 which had completely flattened out and did absolutely nothing. The first place I tried to use it when it arrived, was my swivel office chair. The Aylio cushion, to be effective, needed to be placed more forward on the chair so that there would be no pressure on the tail bone. It was a little hard to get into a seated position on the cushioned office chair because of how the cushion added height to the chair, but when seated, the cushion only flattened slightly and it did seem to relieve pressure on the tail bone somewhat. Next, I used it on a hard bench. The cushion worked really well on the hard bench. I felt total relief from the pain. But I don't often sit on hard benches. The cushion does not work at all on my couch. The couch is too soft and the cushion just sinks into the couch cushion and seems like it's not even there. The most important need for use was in the car. Since purchasing this item, I have used it in the car multiple times, adjusting it here and there to find the best position for driving. It needs to be towards the front of the car seat, but it does not have a non-slip bottom so when I try to get in under the steering wheel and get on the cushion, it is very difficult. I have tried moving the driver's seat as far back as possible and moving the steering wheel out of the way, but it still is awkward and cumbersome. If I miss getting my legs in the right spot, I have to get back out of the car and try again. With practice, I've been getting better at this. If the cushion slips out of place while driving, it is difficult to try to get it back into position while at red traffic lights. Sometimes, while trying to adjust it at a red traffic light, I've accidentally gotten it into a position where it is putting MORE pressure on my tail bone, and then I have to endure this until I get to a new traffic light. Because I can sometimes get this cushion into a position that works, I want to say that I can see it can work well with a little practice. However, for my car seat and road trips it has only provided minimal relief at the beginning of the road trip. After about an hour of driving, the pressure on the tail bone increases and the pain becomes greater again. This cushion might work much much better for people who weigh a lot less.
