Excellent product, packaging, and instructions!
By Jennifer Davis on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2016
This is exactly as it is pictured. Yay! It listed here about $86 and with my Amazon Rewards Points, I only paid just over $50. It was easy to put together with very good diagrams and came with the allen wrench needed to assemble. The pencil tray needed a small Phillips - head screw driver, but as the last piece attached wasn't an issue. The table/desk top material is super heavy duty and is better than I hoped! Between ordering and assembly, I saw this EXACTLY desk at Hobby Lobby and it was $150+. This is such a good deal! (If I had anything adverse to say, it would have nothing to do with the product or packaging, but 20th shipping via USPS. My postal carrier refused to deliver the 3 blocks from the PO. I had to take off work to go after it, but did manage to fit it in my scion xD compact hatchback with my rear seats down. Heavy. Had a friend to help bring it in the house.)

Beautiful craft table stool set
By Twin needle & my magnolia on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2022
We were excited to find this craft table stool set for our art-loving child and thought it was a perfect Christmas and New Year gift for her new art studio. It’s been over 1.5 months since we received the package and thought it was a good time to give our review. 1. Appearance and style: The company offers many colors to choose from. We picked blue with gray. The actual items are vibrant, modern looking and beautiful. 2. Sturdiness: The frame itself is made with a heavy sturdy metal, likely steel, judging by the weight. It is well constructed without wobbling after assembly, not the flimsy kind. The frame is also capped with black plastic stoppers with no sharp edges making it safe for older children and the floor. The tabletop and the side drawer top are made of round edged corners 5/8” thick heavy plastic composite. They are sturdy and seem to be easily cleaned, which is important for arts and crafts and painting, although we haven’t actually used the table yet. I removed one star here because the drawers are the same type of collapsible closet organizers that are made of either thin plastic sheet or cardboard paper wrapped around with fabric. To make it worse, each drawer is held with only two 1/2 inch thick metal strips on each side like a railing except the bottle drawer, with additional two metal bars to go across, meaning there is nothing solid underneath each drawer to hold it in place. I’m shocked that they are used here as arts and crafts drawers. None of my child’s heavy art supplies such as acrylic paints, modeling clay, pastels, and color pencils set, brushes and resin could be stored in these flimsy drawers without them falling apart quickly, and I am not sure what can actually be stored in these drawers without them collapsing. They cannot hold much weight with how it is constructed. While taking the photo for the review, I also found a couple metal strips that were badly bent. See attached photo. 3. Assembly: The desk and the stool are easily assembled. It doesn’t take more than few minutes to put them together, so I give it 5 stars. 4. Comfort: The table is at a perfect height, so an older child with at least 4+ feet tall could sit up straight with proper ergonomics. The stool, however, is pretty uncomfortable. I am not sure one can sit with the stool too long without having pain. We likely need to replace it. 5. Company’s support and responsiveness: This is the reason I only give the overall product one star. We have received our package during a rainstorm. The package arrived and was left on the open ground instead of inside our delivery box. When my husband brought the box in, it was wet and it had a hole in it. He didn’t think much of it, quickly tossed the damaged box and started assembling the desk. As it turned out, all the brackets (two brackets to attach the tabletop to the frame from the front sides, and one adjustable angle bracket to hold and adjust the tabletop from the central back) were gone missing. So I left a private written message through the company’s website inquiring about the missing brackets, as suggested by Amazon’s written guideline “what to do with missing parts” and the company’s customer support website within the same week when we received the package. That was early December 2021. I haven’t heard from the company after a couple weeks, so I called and left a detailed voice message inquiring the missing brackets. No one called me back, and I didn’t receive any email response either. That was around Christmas. So I decided to wait after Christmas and New Year holiday, thinking the company must have been swarmed during the holiday season. I called and left a voice message again when there was no more holiday after first week of January 2021. No response. My husband called again two weeks into January. Again no response. All the while, we couldn’t get a hold of a human to speak on the phone and had no choice but left email & voice messages that went unanswered after 1.5 months. I am ready to return the whole set since Amazon has given this particular product 2-month period to return. We still have two weeks to do, and we have been thinking the pros and cons of returning this table set and to get a new one. Unfortunately the original box has been damaged and is long gone. It will cost us extra $50 to get a box just to return, in addition to the extra hassle and time to disassemble and repackage the set. We finally come to a conclusion, opt for a closure, to just keep it - suck it up so to speak. So my husband bought some far-from-perfect fittings to attach the tabletop to the frame so my child doesn’t need to wait any longer to start using the Christmas/New Year gift. See attached photos. It basically turns this “adjustable” studio table into non-adjustable in order to stabilize the tabletop for safety. We cannot adjust the table for drawing or painting, which defeats our original purpose to purchase this set. So that’s buyer’s alert: don’t expect any support or response from the company if something goes wrong with the products. Once it leaves the warehouse, you are on your own.
