Very comfy and well made slippers!
By Deb J on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2025
I had to return the first pair because they were a tad small from my regular size so I ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. The slippers and well made and keep my feet nice and toasty.

Soft, but flat sitting, making steps feel unnatural
By Simon cephas on Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2024
I've owned three pairs of these. They used to be made of sheerling (sheep whool) they aren't anymore. They are now 100% faux fur. I thought I was getting sheerling cause thats what my other three pairs had been. (a bit disapointed) They have a softer feel to them now for sure. But they now make my feet sweat. Sheerling does not do this. My old pair of bear paws did not do this. My old bear paws also had a curve up on the tread at the front and slightly at the back making every step feel natural , with kinda rock motion. Bear paw's website shows them with the curve. These new ones sit very flat to the ground making every step feel kinda clod hoppy and stiff, and un-natural making the slippers want to slide forward off your feet, and it also puts stress at the top of the part going around your top of your foot, this will making them stretch and become looser over time. Because it's now faux fur and although a little softer they are also more slick on the inside making them not grab to the form of your foot as much. Slightly disappointed in them this time around. But the top leather material part still feels good and thick so they still feel quality made. Other brands, the top leather has been so thin that you can feel and see on the outside, your toes pushing on inside. And within months your toe of the slipper gets a hole in them fairly quick because of the low quality of the leather. Like gradually your toe starts to come out because the leather is so thin, instead of it being quality leather, its more like leather that is as thin as Levi material. So that's something as of now, with the quality of bearpaws you won't deal with thin leather. The benefits to sheerling over faux fur, sheerling regulates heat better , stops you from sweating, but when your feet are cold it insulates keeping heat around your feet for warm toes. Also sheerling over time forms to the shape of your feet grabbing tights and staying thick due to the fibers grabbing each other. These new ones with faux fur will gradually become looser and looser cause of that lack of forming. But over all they still feel like one of the better slippers of this type , that are out there when it comes to quality. Update Oct 31 2024. These get loose and want to fall off your feet. They feel like to straight feet instead of a left and a right. I'm not going to recommend these anymore really. Go where you can them on first
