I bought one of these in 2019 for when my MIL comes to visit so she would have somewhere to put her suitcase and laundry. Even though it folds up nicely for storage when not in use, I ended up keeping it open all the time because even I find it useful day-to-day. I use the bottom canvas bag for clothes to donate, and keep my laundry basket on the top. With daily use the stand has help up VERY well, so I've now purchased another because I'll be having another adult visiting as well and wanted them both to have one for their things. It's very sturdy, VERY easy to assemble, beautiful, and folds up very easily to a very slim profile. HIGHLY recommend.

Awful smell

I ordered this to have on hand for guests in our home. I set it up right away and left it in the guest room, which is also the room I use for my 6 mo old's naps during the day. When I walked back in, the smell of the luggage rack hit me in the face, hard. It smells like chemicals and plastic. I tend to be bothered by the of gasses from things, so I put the luggage rack out on the back deck to air out. We're going on 10 days of airing out, and the product still smells very strongly. I haven't brought it back into the house for use yet. It seems good and sturdy, and looks nice. BUT, if you tend to be bothered by the smell of things, I'd think twice before ordering this.
