Great for ear hair
By T Stanley on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2016
As I approached 40 I started getting ear hair that I shave off. But hair grows quickly and I can't see in my ears. I tried a tweezer too but that is hit and miss to catch hairs. This works much better and pulling lasts smooth much longer than shaving. I can see where one could push the button too hard and break this, but I only push the button lightly because I don't want to weaken the spring. Actually it takes longer if I push the button fully but it's fast work if I barely open the spring against my ear. Most things push to grip but this is opposite - you release the button to grip. After a minute it came natural to me but some may take longer. I tried this on my beard hair and honestly I think this would be tedious on much face hair but if a woman had 6 chin hairs it'd probably be better than tweezers. It works well where you can't see well - get in general vicinity and it'll catch the hair but it isn't catching many at a time. Because of this it's the best solution I've used for my ears. The curve of the spring aligns nicely to the different curves of my ear - much better than the flat of my cheek when testing on my face. It was too tempting not to put this in my nose for those hairs - well, that made a grown man tear up. THAT HURTS. I'll use my shaver for that still. I'm pretty sure I've read someplace not to tweeze those anyway. Buy this for the man in your life. Once you convince him to use these on his ears and only his ears, he'll thank you.

not worth it!
By L on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2018
This is a cumbersome gadget! It is not practical, it is very hard to manage and make it work, and simply not worth the hassle. The design is absolutely wrong. The way the coils work are hard to coordinate. I don't have that much facial hair anyway and am better off with a manual pair of regular tweezers. And I bought 2 of them! Would really like to return them both, or at least the one that is still in the original packaging.
