Magformers 55-Piece Lighted Set

I can't say enough good about this product. I bought these for my 2.5-year-old and she plays with them every other day. She can build all kinds of things all by herself, and she can pick up full structures without them coming apart (thank goodness, because that would potentially cause an emotional breakdown. lol). She makes little houses for her 2-3" dolls and the houses hold up to her play and stick together. We also have the Tegu Explorer Set of magnetic wooden blocks and they are TERRIBLE after using these and totally do not stay together with very few magnetic "sticking" spots through the blocks. I have learned that all magnetic blocks are NOT created equally! The light is not necessary at all but it is a cool added feature and cycles through different colors of lights, and one full charge (via the included USB cable) lasts a really long time. Magformers inspire tons of creativity and hours of play, encouraging children of any age to constantly think outside of the box to "reinvent the wheel". I have recommended these to ALL of my friends with children ranging in age from 2 to 12. You will not regret this purchase, and you may just have a little fun with them yourself if you sit down with your child for a bit. ;)
