Just Right For Pool

What great glasses for poolside! Very clear and sturdy plastic so they won't break when the dog's tail brushes them in his excitement at us being by "his" pool, or when it's dark and you just don't realize a glass is on the side table. The curved sides are very comfortable and stable to hold even with wet hands. They take my preferred large single ice cubes. Broken glass outdoors is no fun. These are superior.

These shatter-proof but not crack-proof, for-outdoor-use glasses are a nice size for whisky with ice, but aren't near the quality of the more expensive acrylic glasses I purchased on Amazon approx. 4 yrs ago (that are no longer available) --the formerly-offered/purchased acrylic glasses actually look like glass. These Carlisle glasses have a bit of a blue tinge to them, making them look like the plastic they are. They arrived with a bit of a film, which washed away easily enough with a bit of dish soap. Like all acrylic glasses, for best wear, this set will need to be hand washed and hand dried. I would not trust putting them in the dishwasher, not even on the top rack. Incidentally, it's best to keep acrylic glasses away from sunscreen/sunblock products. This set of six came with no instructions. The UPC label on the bottom of each glass was quite difficult to remove.
