Swirl Sand 89-Piece Flatware Set

This flatware looks very nice. Satin finish is difficult to find, and these look very classy and handsome. It is a nice large set, with 12 extra salad forks and 12 extra teaspoons! Then I picked them up and used them. I wanted to like them but I just couldn't bring myself to keep them. I knew I would kick myself every time I used them. These are way too short and much too lightweight. My existing Oneida service for twelve is 21 years old and still looks great. No rust (I had no idea until I began shopping that this is now such a problem!), and each piece has a nice feel and heft to it. I needed an extra set of 12 because sometimes I have outdoor parties for 20. The attached photo shows a knife and dinner fork with my old Oneida on the right and the Cambridge on the left. The Cambridge dinner fork weighs a full ounce less than the Oneida dinner fork. The Cambridge FEELS cheap and junky. If the weight and length is not important to you, you may be happy with the Cambridge.
