I love the quality, the light weight, the quiet operation, the color--its like the Electrolux Ergospace was designed for me!

This vacuum has every feature I wanted and it works very well (used a few times so far). It is the most quiet vacuum clean I have ever owned. My husband works at home, and he can't hear it when he is on the phone with a customer. He commented that we can actually talk while the vacuum cleaner is running without shouting. The suction is very strong and cleaned my hardwood floors and the thick area carpets so they look like new. I love the internal, automatic cord rewind. By pushing a button, I can control how quickly the cord goes inside so that it doesn't snap in too quickly and hurt my hand (like my old Hoover did). It rolls easily and does not tip over. The wheels are nice, do not scratch; it does not take off quickly or hold you back, either. It steers so easily. The floor attachment actually has its own little built-in wheels so that it turns when I turn--like using a Dyson, only I never have to touch the dirt! Its fun to use. There are two filters and a little tray holds the nice Electrolux-S bag, so that I carry the removable tray to the trash barrel and dump the entire bag. No allergies, no dirt bouncing up in my face. The hose is a good quality rubbery plastic, not a stiff plastic. The metal is the quality of the old vacuums, thick, sturdy--the heaviest thing on the machine, but a very nice quality. The entire vacuum and its parts feel more expensive than I paid on Amazon--I am very happy with the price compared with anything else I have considered. I kept looking at the lower end Mieles but this is my first choice over a Miele. My husband asked me if it's made in Germany (have no idea, but its looks and feels that good). The variable suction is perfect for blinds, upholstery, etc. There is one floor attachment which has a double-edged brush, as well as a fine carpet option. I have not tried the rotating carpet attachment yet. I love this vacuum cleaner--it is so light that even as a sciatica-sufferer, I can pick it up with one hand and vacuum high up in closets and high windows with the other hand--this vacuum gives me the freedom to have a clean house without compromising my back. The metal tube adjusts longer or shorter so that my tall husband doesn't have to bend to vacuum. I was kidding around and said that I like it so much that I am thinking of naming this little Electrolux (trying to think of a fun, cute name); he tried it and apparently enjoyed using it because he vacuumed quite a bit and just kept saying I'd definitely chosen the right vacuum cleaner. I thought the 3-in-1 tool would be cheap, but it is well-designed and good quality; it is very small and stores easily onboard, but it is so useful. And, it looks like natural bristles to me. I have larger tools, too, but the 3-in-1 tool is all I actually use because it does many jobs well and is so easy to tote and store. When I opened the package I made it harder to put together than it is. Something I learned: do not remove the plastic end pieces because they are supposed to stay on the hoses. No instructions, but really none are needed. No tools needed, either. You are probably wondering if I am a real person--yes I am, and I bought this vacuum cleaner after over 18 months of research and looking for every feature I wanted for a reasonable price. It even has a full-bag indicator. My house is small and this doesn't require much storage space, which is another plus. This is perfect for me--my husband is an Engineer and is impressed with the quality. I like "quiet," and I like "clean" in all the spaces I had to skip over with my old upright w/attachments. I can't believe I kept that upright for so long, when I could have decided on this one sooner. This Electrolux Ergospace is so light to pick up--no strain or pain in my back. Winter has arrived, and it is so nice to have clean air to breathe inside the house. I was apprehensive about ordering online, especially because we hadn't seen one in stores--what a great choice for us. Amazon delivered to the door, and everything worked out well.

Best so far

It is a light, compact, and very easy to use product. The suction is good, but nothing cleans like the canister vac with a powerhead that I'm trying to replace (even Kenmore's new product failed after one year of use) This is the best vacuum that I have found so far, but be aware that the bags are small.
