Sharp - Holds Edge

Great knife for slicing, though a little awkward for peeling. I would consider the black vinyl handle, which may feel a bit more secure in your hand for peeling. All in all, I have no complaints.

Buyer beware - this knife is made in Taiwan

And is not very sharp. It is also hard o sharpen it. It is being advertised as Japanese but if you turn picture around you will see - made in Taiwan label, very misleading. And quality is not there - bad purchase.
