Low Cost but Excellent

This lens is the cost effective alternative to the Fuji 18-55mm f2.8-4.0 OIS zoom. Not sure it has the same image quality, but if you believe sharpness and image quality is driven more by the photographer than the lens, this may be by far the better deal. It isn't f2.8 at the wide-angle end -- only f3.5, but with OIS, it produces very respectable images, with bokeh even (at or near f3.5). 16mm at the wide end is useful. If it didn't have a well reviewed, several times more expensive, and more substantial stable-mate at about the same focal length,it might be generating more ripples in the Fuji X lens lineup. As it is, it is light, has OIS, and helps produce that "certain something" images that Fuji X equipment can produce. As a kit-lens bundled with maybe a X-A1 or X-A2, some would say it's a screaming deal.

El envío fue rápido. En la descripción del artículo, el vendedor mencionaba que los lentes tenían polvo, pero no decía que los cristales están rayados. En 16mm de distancia focal, las manchas de polvo son notorias; y en diafragmas muy cerrados, como F/22 y en contra luz, la imagen se daña totalmente. Las tapas son genéricas, la de atrás es de un plástico de muy mala calidad, la frontal encaja mal y al parecer raya el lente. Es un artículo económico, pero debió ser transparente y clara la descripción. Me siento engañado.
