Mikasa Misstep Cheapens Aesthetic

When it arrived, the Mikasa Hammered Harmony flatware initially seemed absolutely lovely in appearance and seemed to be heavy and of decent quality. However, upon closer inspection, I was dismayed to discover that, aside from the knives, the utensils are not hammered, or even patterened, on both sides. The forks and spoons are smooth on the backs. This was extremely disappointing to discover (and something I clearly should have researched more thoroughly). Sadly, this cheapens the overall aesthetic of the set. It is an unfortunate Mikasa misstep.
