Cuisinart 12-Piece SS Cookware Set

This set is OK. I was honestly waiting for a multi-clad type set, but when this one went on sale, I couldn't pass it up. I should have passed it up and saved my money for a thicker set. The metal is way too thin, and feels like you're going to cut yourself on the lip of a pot. Heat retention/thickness is all on the bottom and the bottom only. I was expecting this, but the overall construction is poor. This is certainly better than the really cheap set you might find at Walmart. Although I like this OK, I don't love it and would not buy again. I really wish I would've saved my money for something even a little better. I definitely would not have purchased this had I seen it before buying -- but I bought online on a deal and rolled the dice. I kind of feel like I lost on that dice roll. This is the type that has the "disc" on the bottom. If you enjoy cooking like I do, you'll understand what this is. I'm not sure how else to describe it. Again, it's not horrible, but it's not great at all. If all you've ever used is cheap Walmart cookware, you'll find this is definitely an upgrade. But it's better to spend just a bit more and get something thicker/multiclad/etc.
