36 Pair Shoe Rack, White

I've gotten doorhanging shoe racks before. This was by far the easiest to assemble. The plastic frame doesn't seem very sturdy, and I'm sure if you're too hard on it, it could break easy. But it is sturdy enough for this rack.Instructions are inside the Ziploc that holds screws. But the assembly is pretty self explanatory. I used a small mallet to tap the poles in to make sure they were in the sockets all the way. If you don't use the mallet, make sure you put them in strongly. If you don't push them in all the way it could fall apart.It's designed to be screwed into the closet door at different increments. You might be able to get away without doing this, but the rack will swing about. Due to How the pieces connect, this could also make it fall apart. It's much more sturdy when it's screwed in. The very top does not screw in, and the hooks for the door connect to the rack in an odd way. This makes me concerned the top is not as stable, but I'm hoping the point where it is screwed in helps keep it stable.One of my screws that came with it were faulty. Fortunately I have some to use as spairs.It works better with heels and not flats. And you have to get creative with the legs on boots, there's not much space between levels for boots.All-in-all I think it was a good buy. $32 seems a bit much. I certainly wouldn't pay more. But that seems to be the going rate for shoe racks. The number of shoes it holds varies on the type if shoe and how much space it takes up. It's much easier to get the shoes on and off the rack too. More like a shelf as opposed to the ones with hooks. So far I recommend this product.
