Nicer than Expected

I looked at a lot of flatware before deciding to try these. Very happy I went with them. They look great, feel good in the hand, and seem to be holding up well. The butter knives are sharper than expected. They have tiny serrations and can easily cut meat. My only minor quibble are the forks. They're very similar in size. Makes it a bit tricky to tell them apart when it's time to save them. They look and function great though. Much nicer than having salad forks that are really small.

I thought Cuisinart meant quality? It does with all my appliances.

Out of the box, they looked great. Ran them through my top of the line Bosch dishwasher with a built in water softener and rinse aid, and they pitted. Horrible. They are going back. Read some reviews, and bought Sagler's brand. Ran once through the dishwasher and they held up. Seriously? What is so hard about using stainless steel instead of lying?
