Pulverizes fruits and veggies for smoothies! 2HP ... wowza~!

Another viewer used the word "pulverized" her veggies to make smoothies.I said to myself, "I'm in...that's what I'm looking for!"This machine is incredible.I am 54 years old and have never ever been so impressed with a kitchen appliance in my entire life!My daughter is nursing her newborn and I'm determined to make sure that she has lots of vitamins in her diet.I have been making her fruit smoothies with this machine (indeed it is a machine) and they are totally awesome.This blender is so powerful that it almost lifts off the counter ... pretty impressive!I would recommend this for anyone who wants to make smoothies.

Works great if you don't fill it up

Buy a Vita-Mix!! It doesn’t have the hype, but it’s built a LOT better. Takes all the frozen stuff I throw at it and keeps coming back for more!! Def much better internal parts than the fake ninja!! As for the “Ninja”, This is my second Ninja Blender. You would think I would have learned after the first one. Works great if you don't fill it up.Or don't put too much ice-cream in it. If your smoothie gets too thick, the motor over heats or just trips the shut off.The second time, I had hardly put anything in it. The first time this happened, I admit... I loaded it up. But this time, a regular$50 blender could have done the job. There is more hype (and price) here than there is ultra powerful blender. It does havepower. Just don't expect it to live up to the name. Its the Not-so-Ultima Blender. Once you understand that, then you'll realize that you're just paying the price of a great blender only to get an average one. Because of that (and two epic fails), its one star.
