Very satisfied! Well worth the cost!

First of all, I think the reviews have been pretty monotonous in regards to mentioning, "ThE iNsTrUcTiOnS aRe ImPoSsIBlE tO rEaD", or "iT tOoK mE fOrEvEr To PuT iT oN".With that being said, I'm going to get to the part that I feel is of most importance: the quality of the actual harness. I was VERY pleased with the material, coloration, durability, texture, etc. The buckles look authentic and true to the ones seen on screen, the brown leather* color is spot on, the gray parts look great, all the "for looks" buttons look great, all the snaps work, and all the parts were included.Additional details for if you're picky like me:- I was well pleased with how the buckles have a more "worn" appearance, rather than a bright, shiny, polished metal appearance that I'd seen on other cosplays.*- I read reviews saying that the harness was real leather-- though for that cheap of a price, I was expecting it to not be. However, the parts did come out of the bags smelling a lot like real leather. I think the back side is thin leather, with the front/exposed side being the pleather.INSTRUCTIONS/ASSEMBLY/OVERALL FIT:1. We have established that the instructions are not exactly step-by-step. However, they are not as bad as everyone has made them out to be. If you're a parent trying to get your child (though I hope they're older), tween, or teen into this beast of a harness and have never seen the show... yes. You will be very confused. However, one quick search on YouTube for a tutorial, and you'll be good to go. If you bought the harness for yourself and are very familiar with the show (which I hope you are, being that you're thinking about forking out $30+ on a rather ~interesting~ looking harness) you should already have a relative idea of how it goes together in all honesty. The final steps (connecting the leg straps and the back straps and passing them under, over, and through the slits and openings in the back) are the hardest part. That's about the only part I had to watch a tutorial for.2. As far as fit goes, I'm about a size 00 and as far as height goes, "I'm not short, I'm Levi sized" . I definitely had some pieces that I had at least 6-8" to trim off. Because of this, parts of the harness (under the arms and the connecting belts) come a little closer/touch. I don't mind, as I often have to resize things for myself anyways.)3. I mainly got it to cosplay Captain Levi as he is seen in the Kenny arc of S3. Therefore, I don't need the full calf/leg belts anyways. Though figuring out my own way of tucking/hiding the straps meant to connect down to the legs was interesting. It took a good bit of picture/model figure referencing.Anyways, I hope this helps somebody. Have fun!

Looks awesome but super flimsy.

I got this thing put on and got in my car, 3 straps were broken before I even sat down. 2 more after arriving at the convention. I ended up having to duck tape most of it together by the time I was inside. Other reviews said as much, but its absurd. The instruction are nearly illegible, and some steps arent even explained. Half of the instructions are written in mandarin, which doesnt help. Luckily I went with my GF who is from china and is a natuve mandarin speaker. And that didnt help in the slightest. The Mandarin instructions are just as bad.I used her as a model and put it together on her first. So rather than a couple hours like others, I had it figured out and put 2 of these tofether in less than 30 minutes. It also helps I've made a full harness out of actual leather. I purchased these just so me and my GF matched. There would have been a significant quality difference otherwise. My advice, dint buy this expecting to get more than a single use out of it. It is going to break. You would legitimately be better off learning leather working and making one yourself. It would honestly be easier. I know because ive made one. Also if possible, dont put it on until you have arrived where youre going. Sitting with this on is risky and you'll likely breaks a strap or two. Good luck standing back up.You will not be able to bend or stretch, not even lift your arms and teach out.Its also very uncomfortable, especially around your neck. The foot straps were awful. The way everything pulls, the straps over yohr knees will fall and it would be very uncomfortable and annoying. I had to crack down con security and get them to cut my foot straps off.Last thing, put yoyr boots in before anything else. Once your legs are done, gets your boots on. Remember, you physically cannot bend or stretch, meaning you cant touch your knees, let alone put boots on. If youre like me and made your own boots, and theyre form fit for your feet in particular, theres no way you'll get them on while wearing the fuel harness.

Mostly sturdy, but a bit inconsistent

It mostly stayed together, but some of the buckles were smaller or tighter on one side than the other, making it very difficult for some belts to stay inside. The third time I wore it, one of the small straps on the legs that slide on and off broke while I was taking it off. It's nothing irreparable- I just have to use some needle and thread. Still unfortunate, though.I'm not really surprised it broke though, because I laid down on the floor in a family guy pose like 3 times, and I could tell the straps were NOT happy about it. Be more careful than I was. Also don't be afraid to manspread. The straps hate when you try to close your legs too tight. And yes, this IS very hard to put on. Look up multiple tutorials and practice. Be careful when you practice- this won't last you forever. There is no way for them to really make this easy to put on. There's even an arc in the series where "We don't have time to put our gear on" is an actual problem the characters have to face. So I don't fault them for how difficult it is to get on other than the inconsistency.

First of all, let me just say that this item, at this price, is surprisingly good quality and is exactly what you’d want for an AoT cosplay. But, keep in a mind a few things before purchasing it.1. The thigh straps are an absolute pain. It didn’t matter how tightly I strapped them, they slid down. This may be because I have large thighs, but I’m not sure. Prepare to adjust or use Velcro to secure them.2. You are going to need a video to put this on. It’s incredibly complex. I would personally recommend the Riley Thompson video on YouTube, as shes helpful and thorough. I think the fact that it’s difficult makes it look more authentic though, so I wouldn’t consider it a downside.3. You are not going to be able to go to the bathroom if you’re a woman. I thought I’d be able to, and I was absolutely wrong. Because I was wearing this for a Halloween party and not cosplay,I knew I’d want to be able to go to the bathroom and after putting it on correctly one time, tried putting it on without having the top pieces and bottom pieces connect. It wasn’t too hard to do this, and I was able to easily use the bathroom with my altered way of wearing it, but it didn’t look as clean. If you’re gonna wear this legitimately, plan your bathroom breaks, but try to avoid it altogether.4. I’m 5 foot 6 and 158 pounds. This fit with a bit of wiggle room, but not much, and the straps don’t stretch.
Bad Design, Bad Stitching, and Time Consuming

First of all, I want to say that the harness fits me really well. I wear an S size shirt (male) and my waist is 29. However, I am returning it because this thing is badly designed and implemented. There were no instructions. They had a leaflet which was completely inadequate for an item this complex. They did have links to youtube videos. But I had to watch 3 separate ones to get it finally. This harness has very poor stitching. The harness around my knee came off on first use. The sigil on the back also tore. Also, multiple belts have buckles that come off too easily making it really difficult to do anything. It took me more than 3 HOURS to wear it!There are certain parts that you have to manipulate while they are on your back. My shoulders hurt after trying to work them. And it's not a one and done situation. You have to tighten and retighten repeatedly after attaching difderent parts so it fits tightly on your body. It's very difficult to differentiate between the belts because they are the same shape and color. Sometimes I got confused between left and right. And sometimes I confused different belts because they come from the same area. Also there was one buckle that multiple belts were going through. It was a massive pain to put it all together. All in all, bad design. I'll try to get a different design harness next time. But even if I get the same design, I'll get it from a seller with good quality stitching and leather.
Definitely worth it--great price!

Love them! They're ridiculous to put on but after a few times it gets easier. My first time assembling it took about an hour and a half but that was mostly me trying to figure things out by myself before giving up and looking on youtube. The best youtube tutorial to watch for this is "How To Assemble Your Attack On Titan Harness" by user Riley Thompson, she has the exact same harness and the way she explains everything is very clear and easy to follow. After you assemble everything for the first time, there are some pieces that you can leave together so that there's less assembly next time. The craftsmanship is really good, all the straps are well-made and all the buckles are metal. There's enough slack in most areas to allow for different body types to fit. I'm 5'8" and ~125 lbs and didn't have any problems with fit.The only downsides are that if you step into the elastic part that goes under your feet, the pressure from that tends to tug the thigh straps down. That's easily fixed by either securing the thigh straps to your pants with velcro or by not stepping into the elastic, which is what I like to do since it's more comfortable that way. Also, the strap that runs across the chest is a little awkward if you have breasts. How far up it goes can't be adjusted very easily but I'm sure there's a way to do it. If you have a larger chest, it'll probably be a little uncomfortable.TLDR: Great quality, great price, definitely worth it for an accurate cosplay. Pain in the butt to put on but made way easier with video tutorials. Added bonus of making your room smell like a boot store.

Pretty cool, a little time consuming to put on, but I mean, it’s a bunch of straps, they also include a step by step guide with pics (that one was kinda hard to follow lol) and a card leading to a YouTube tutorial which is very helpful! Real talk tho, one of my elastic straps came apart at the seam, I was only having a Halloween party at my house so no real strenuous activity caused it :^/ but I can sew so it’s no big deal for me, just something to keep in mind. Other than that, it fit great and pulled the fit together :^) came very fast and saved me from my procrastination 👌🏻

I'm 5'11 and 145 pounds. These worked great for one - three uses. I am a little tall and the shin portion of the straps fit with a little stretching but I expect that by now. You Will need at least 1-2 hours learning how to put everything together from you tube videos, but once you get it make sure to allow for 45 min to an hour to adjust and put everything on before going to your event. Difficult to pee in but doable. The garner portion looks really good! but they tend to slide down over time with moment even with tightening.

Other have shared what a complete nightmare this is to assemble and put on, so I won't add to that except to say: they're right. It's so much worse than you think it will be. Even if you wear it multiple times and keep things intact in between wears, it's still impossible. On to the bigger issues though, this is NOT for tall people! I am 5'9 and I could BARELY make it work, but for anyone taller than me it would be straight up impossible. "One size fits all" for adolescents maybe, but not for adults. The material is shockingly flimsy. One piece broke just while I was assembling it, and another tore through after less than an hour of wear. It could be sort of okay for a Halloween costume, but it is definitely not cosplay quality. It's not too uncomfortable to wear, but in my experience the thigh straps will fall down. Constantly. No matter how much you tighten them, they just do not stay up as you walk around. The lower leg pieces also shift a little (you can see in my picture, they're not oriented quite right after a few minutes of walking around).I'm giving it two stars because it looks pretty decent when it's on (at least, until you walk and things shift around) and it's easier than trying to make your own, but if you have any other option I'd go for that.
Looks Great, but Can't Fight Titans in These!

I used this for my Levi Ackeman cosplay. Let me start by saying that that my friend and I went though HELL trying to assemble this. I would not have been able to put this together without help. It took HOURS, and after FINALLY getting this assembled, I took it off as gently as I could, and then put it back on to see how long it would take to get it on for the con after most of it is put together. And then the elastic on the left leg broke off. No problem, easy sew. But let me tell ya, if I had not sewn these onto my pants, they wouldn't have stayed up at all. As we were leaving to the con, one of the straps under my arm that connects to the strap going across my chest came apart, so my chest strap kept having to be adjusted because it kept going lopsided. And the strap that goes across my crotch on the right side to the left side kept coming apart, so I had to keep reconnecting that. When we got some from the con the first day I wore this, my friend stitched the strap that came apart under my arm back together and even glued it, but it just came back apart the next day. There was also another strap on my right side that came apart but thankfully it had a buckle on it so I could just keep putting that one back together. I will say this, when these are put together and not causing issues, they look FANTASTIC. I felt so badass in my cosplay, and I'm pretty sure I was the only one there who put in the extra effort of getting these and putting them together instead of just buying the full cosplay. Functionality wise, though... well, they look like they can maneuver exceptionally well in the anime, but not in real life 😅 dont expect to sit down much or crouch at all. I'm giving these four stars because they look great and the problem areas are easily fixable, just know you'll have a hell of a time putting them together and readjusting them during the con!! I hope this helps.
