A tool that does a job and does it well. The expert design is very apparent.

This spiralizer is the best tool I have in the kitchen to aid in my low-carb, high fat, moderate protein diet. As you can see in the video I uploaded it is very easy to use and it only takes minutes to process 2 or 3 zucchini for enough noodles for a couple of people to have a healthy "pasta" dish. The different blades are useful. I tend to use the spaghetti noodle blade the most. The simple straight blade can be used to make spiraled wide thin pieces. Broken up a bit, these pieces are great for a lasagna dish. This spiralizer will cut even the most fibrous of roots. I have it cutting ginger and daikon no problem. Despite the complexity of getting one contraption to make these noodles everything is still pretty easy to clean. The machine was well designed with cleaning in mind. It was also developed with sanitation in mind. The lip where the noodles come out is built to overhang a small bowl or a plate/cutting board. It is perfect for catching all of the noodles after you have processed. Dimensions of the product can be seen in the photos. Included in this set: *Spiralizer Body *Spaghetti blade *Fettuccine blade *Wide thin spiral slice blade Pros: *Easy to use *Easy to clean *Designed to keep things sanitary Cons: *None Additional Considerations: Some quality kitchen shears are nice when using this product. After you process a whole zucchini for noodles you can gather up the noodles like rope and then once you have it all bunched up uniformly you can make cuts to get consistent noodle length. Overall: 5/5 stars (>=.5 rounds up, <.5 rounds down) => 5 stars If you have any further questions regarding the product in my review please leave a comment below and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Solid 3.5 stars for this spiralizer

Please see comment left by RWM on this review. Apparently Bitoni has been creating multiple shill accounts in order to downvote reviews that are less than 5 stars. This actually explains a lot. Shill accounts are so sketchy/shady/bad business, and based on this practice, I can't recommend supporting a business that does this. However, this review is solely for the product, and as such, I will leave it as-is (although Bitoni seriously deserves a 1 star as a company). RWM has also left a bit more information on other similar, if not identical, products for those who are interested in purchasing a spiralizer like this from another company in the comments below. Please take a look for his/her thorough review for multiple spiralizer reviews. ----- I primarily purchased this to spiralize cucumbers and zucchini to make noodles. I bought this because this was cheaper than Paderno's at the time of purchase. The promise of being 30% heavier than the competitor's was also alluring even if I couldn't personally verify it. For the record, I weighed this gadget on my digital kitchen scale, and it clocked in at 1 lb 6 7/8 oz. with the noodle blade. First things first: The initial pictures of this unit were green. Amazon or the seller has since changed the picture. Mine arrived white, but this isn't a problem for me. The one I got looks exactly like a Paderno or this one here, which at the time, was 22% less: http://www.amazon.com/Essential-Spiralizer-Tri-Blade-Spiral-Vegetable/dp/B006THC75E/. Overall, I'm relatively content with this device, but there are a few significant things that I feel are worth mentioning: 1. When I rotate the handle and the veggie is going through the blade, the center of the core (where it goes through the corer) is rarely straight. This is very annoying especially if you're trying to remove as much of the core as possible, especially with cucumbers, without cutting into the flesh. To combat this, I usually slice the veggie in half so that there's less distance for the vegetable to travel to the blade, eliminating frequent adjusting. 2. Nicks in the blade. My favorite attachment is the noodle, and it's the one I use the most frequently. After using this attachment a couple of times, I noticed some small nicks in the large blade. I carefully handwash all parts of this kitchen gadget and spiralize cucumbers and squashes, so it was disappointing. I am hoping that there will be no more chips. 3. The suction cups are useless. They do not stick to granite or glass. I've tried to smoosh it down, use water to increase suction, and nothing. I have to hold it down by hand when spiralizing. This device is also pretty light, so if it's 30% heavier than Paderno, I can't even imagine how light the Paderno one is... (Note: this isn't a "ding" on the product, but if you are looking to make noodles from harder root veggies like carrots, please get a julienne peeler.) However, on the plus side, this product is easy to use, easy to take apart, and most importantly, easy to clean. When I use my spiralizer despite its flaws, I notice a significant uptake in my intake of veggies, and they're a lot more enjoyable to eat. ----- Noodle tip - When I spiralize cucumbers and squashes, I always salt them and wring out the excess water. This removes a lot of the water from the vegetable, so that when you use it in dishes, it doesn't end up soupy. I noticed that my noodles end up with a nice bite/crunch to them when I cook with them: no blanching necessary.
