Does everything it said it would. You can guess by the title you do need to have access to blue tooth and there is an app that needs to be downloaded, but, it is free. I was having trouble in the beginning, but, I believe the batteries that came with it were dead so as soon as I put in fresh ones, there was no problem.

Sounded Great, but Was a Disappointment

It sounded like a great scale, with great features, but I had no luck setting it up. Went on-line, used blue tooth as instructed, but it didn't work. Every time I stepped on scale, it gave me a reading that didn't make sense. Instructions for set up were pretty minimal. If there had been a customer service number I could have called to double check if the item was defective, but there was no such phone number, only toll number for Pyle. I'm not technically illiterate, so if I can't get it to work properly, then either there's a problem with the instructions or it is defective. Probably just a defective unit, but I don't think I'm going to bother replacing it.
