I bought both the fine and coarse graters. I just love love love them. They have eliminated the annoyance of mincing vegetables. I stopped chopping carrots for salads and now ribbon them. I'm a ginger freak so this gives me the perfect coarse grate I like. By the way, try peeling your ginger with a spoon. Saw this tip and it works. Grater has an extended arm to hold for ease then with a push of a button and little push the arm seals the 'blades'. I no longer scrape my hands when I reach in my drawer. Honest it's well worth the money so buy the 2 of them and get the 4 sizes. I'm a gadget girl and this has gone to the top of my list of favorites.

4/14/15 All I can say is that these are no more than junk! They looked like a good idea so thought I would give them a try. I ordered both the fine/med & course/ribbon…both arrived yesterday and are going back today. These handles are dangerous. They are nothing but glossy slick plastic with bumps which are the same glossy slick plastic….I doubt the bumps will do much to give a grip to the slippery plastic. I have many many graters…I do all kinds of grating. Most all my graters are Microplane and a couple Oxo and I never have a problem hanging onto them (you can get a good grip on the handles) and they are sharp sharp. In my opinion…these Kuhns are an accident waiting to happen. One slip and goodbye to allot of skin or even worse. To tell you the truth I wouldn't be surprised if you were baring down grating that the handle would crack off because they are flimsy. I realize that there are some fabulous reviews…everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I can't imagine that they are doing much grating with these products.
