Fantastic for storage, less so for heating.

I bought these based on a review I read that talked about how well they resist staining. I can happily say they hold up to this. Just left spaghetti sauce in one for a week, when I emptied the container, it was stained like all other tupperware I've ever used my entire life, so I thought the review wasn't good, then I washed the thing, simple soap, water and a sponge, and it looks completely brand new! The downside to this set is in its heating. I heated up some chili in one and in less than a minute, the chili had melted into the side of the dish, only slightly, but enough to scar one permanently. I sort of expected this when I put it in, because what this tupperware does in stain resisting it lacks in sturdiness. It is a very thin material, which means it gets soft very quick, and when some food gets really hot next to it, it stands no real chance vs. some standard rubbermaid tupperware, though that one would be orange under the same conditions. All in all, I definitely suggest this product, use it to store the things that would stain your other tupperwares, and be very careful to stir liquids you're heating up in it frequently, and it's a solid product. The lids do lack the satisfying snap you tend to like in tupperware, but they definitely close and stay closed, you just have to do a run over with your hand to make sure all the sides actually closed.

Not recommended for rugged use

I would not buy these for liquids or long term use outside the house. I would use these for organization or long term storage of lower risk items. I bought containers to divide up food I cook every 4 days or so for transport to work. These are barely a month old and one has cracked. The lids do not give me the most confidence when I put something like a soup in them. These are about on part with single use storage containers like the ones from china express that you might save and reuse. Maybe a little better. You ware way better off spending twice as much for rubbermade if you want a product that you can still use when you grand kids need to pack a lunch.
