Innovated Box Spring Platform Metal Bed Frame

The order says this thing weight 46 pounds. Either I am a lot stronger or that is not true. That is a win for all who recieve it. It is a little awkward, but pretty light to handle. Setup was a breeze. This comes in to pieces. Take this out of the box, and cut a couple of tie wraps. Loosen up four wing nuts on each half, put the leg stabilizer on the screw and tighten the wing nuts. Do this for both sides. Flip them over and align them sid by side. Place two more wing nuts to put them together. Tighten. Put mattress on frame. Voila! This unit does not squeak (at least the first night it did not. I suspect if it does start squeaking, that the bolts would have to tightened. There is no side edge so to speak, so it is a possibiltiy that the mattress could slide on this thing. I have a thick ememory faom type bed with a rubberized bottom, so mine does not go anywhere. There is plenty of room to store things from the sides of the frame. The ends you can not get things slid under too well because the frame uses some extra space. NOt a big deal except if you can only slide things from the ends due to space constraints. So far I would say I am very happy with this frame. The price is right, it arrived within a week of ordering, it was simple to put together, it appears to be strong and built to last. There is nothing fancy. It is a black metal color. I really don't think you can go wrong. Just be aware that a mattress might move around on this due to no "lip" on the sides. UPDATE: 06/23/2015 STILL no squeak from this frame.
