It just works...

Another 5 stars...so sue me. Having used it every other day for the past month, this little baby does *exactly* what I need it to do, with an efficiency that's quite acceptable *to me* (which is all that matters). For silks and rayons (which I wear a lot of), you don't want gale force jets of hot steam stressing the fibers. They get gentle washing and gentle steaming (1 to 2 passes, depending on the item). Also works nicely on sweaters. Would it put a crease in a pair of jeans? No. Not a factor, since I don't crease mine, but it does take the wrinkles out. 2-3 items, then a fast heating refill, what's the issue? It doesn't drop or sputter, takes up very little space in a suitcase, auto adjusts for voltage, just wrap the cord around it for storage, and it's cute as a button to boot.As for having to use distilled water... every manufacturer recommends it. However, it's not at all necessary. Simply add a few drops of white vinegar to the water. It breaks down the calcium, plus it softens and refreshes the fabric (as well as stops static cling). I always carry a small bottle when traveling, as it has a myriad of uses.

So little steam comes out, essentially useless
By K on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2022
I bought this to take on a 2.5 week trip to Europe. At the last minute I didn’t bring it along, but was unable to test it out prior to my trip. I just used it upon my return and it’s virtually useless. So little steam actually comes out. But I can’t return it, as I’m outside the return window now. Don’t buy!
