LEGO Construction

This is a great product to help a child transition from Duplo to Lego, and it comes in a handy storage container. The pieces come in different bags, clearly labeled. The instruction booklets are easy to follow. I gave my four-year-old son the first bag and instructions (the blue truck) and told him that if he could build it by himself, he would get Bag Two the next day. He did it and was so proud of himself. I believe it is just the right level of challenge for his age and ability. It has been a few months now, and he still loves putting it together, playing with it, adding in Duplo creative cars, lego junior backhoe, and other toys, and taking it completely apart, over and over. Many mornings, this is the first toy he pulls out of his closet. An added bonus is the storage container. It is very large relative to the number of pieces it comes with which seems strange. But for whatever reason, my son always puts all the pieces and booklets back in the container with very little encouragement. It is the only toy that he always cleans up. One caveat, the lid snaps shut, but not tightly. If the container is dropped or kicked, the lid flies off and the pieces fall out. Bottom line, worth every penny of the $15 I paid.
