One has to be slow & careful not to get poked with the wire! I manage to get between all my very tight teeth using 1 pick, then discard! There used to me an even slimmer pick, however I can't find that micro size any longer! I use these when I'm in a hurry & can't waterpik or after I brush, but still see "plaque" between certain teeth & hard to reach crevices! Edit: I recently purchased the GUM brand, ultra tight, & they hold up much better including a cap to close & use several times! The DenTek wire is very flimsy, good for one use only!
