Love this set

I am so pleased with this purchase. I originally found these "on sale" through another site, but chose to compare prices elsewhere before I bought them. Amazon was by far the cheapest option. We were ready to upgrade my chipped and scratch set of mismatched dinnerware to something sturdier and more elegant. This set is perfect for us. The color is beautiful and I love the scalloped detailing around the edge. These are dishwasher and microwave safe, and we've subjected the pieces to both without any issues. As for packaging, I read a few other reviews that had me concerned. I decided to take a chance, and I went ahead and purchased 2 sets. They arrived in a gigantic package (almost the size of a refrigerator box). Inside were two more cardboard boxes with some paper stuffing wrapped around. Inside each of those boxes were the product boxes surrounded by bubble wrap. And inside the product boxes was more cardboard and Styrofoam cushioning. The absurd amount of packaging did the trick; not one piece of my order was broken.

The Dishes Are Beautiful IF They Aren't ALL BROKEN!

This was actually my third order of this set of dishes. I was attempting to replace some that we had broken as I cannot find a single source for single purchases of this style. When we initially ordered these dishes it took two orders to receive a full non broken set. This time the entire set was in pieces so obviously, none of the pieces we needed were intact. Maybe it is our local delivery service that cannot handle fragile merchandise but it was extremely inconvenient. I ended up just cancelling the order for a refund! We love this set but it serves us no purpose if we cannot get replacements for the broken items and the sets seem to always be broken upon arrival.
