Great design and durability

These measuring cups are a melamine-like hard plastic, which bothers me, for some completely illogical reason. It does keep the handles from flexing when you fill the cups, though! I do like their sturdiness, and I love that this set has a 3/4-cup measuring cup. When not in use, they nest compactly, without sticking together. I couldn't store my old set of measuring cups in a kitchen drawer because they were too tall when nested; these fit great as long as I fan the handles out a little bit -- the handles are a tiny bit higher than my 3" drawer if lined up atop one another. I put them in the dishwasher most of the time, and they've come through several washings with no problems.

They work but....

These do as the seller claims but they are not a thick plastic and don't fit snug into each other. If you don't keep the little plastic ring on them (which broke the first time I used it), they are all over the drawer. I am even afraid to put these in the dishwasher because I think they will melt although the seller does state it is dishwasher safe. Also the other problem is seeing the measurements on them. The measurements are on the handle but not 'pressed' enough (or whatever process is used to get them there) and since it is so flat and the same color/material as the cup, it is hard to see them while cooking.
