Hands-down this is an all-time favorite!!!
By The Girl Utah on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2020
This is a fragrance that entered our world x3yrs ago- and it came to us on a fluke! (Love it when that happens…) I say we because, myself and two daughters use this scent- and TBH, we play mixology when it comes to this perfume! I can honestly say, as the 40+yr. old mom… Ha! I started this trend in our house… We love the Fragrance and collectively… Cannot get enough!! Now, To say we mix the fragrance does not mean this cannot be used or, hold its own- It can. However, it blends itself so nicely with other scents- and ultimately, helps this stand a little bolder as well! This is the equivalent of your favorite pair of jeans... you can dress it up/down but, in the end however it’s used- it’s perfect!!! Personally, I like the perfume that has less flower and more citrus to the fragrance- I like things that smell fresh.. crisp.. and have a zing! Try to explain that and things get a bit tricky- but, I love the fruity aroma to almost (key word!) to be noticeable almost if, it wasn’t combined with other flavors. I understand this does have a wispy flower smell to it as well but, for those who don’t like it do not be deterred… Trust me it’s a bit subtle in the flower department-And no! This does not smell like soap. So, on the flipside, if you’re looking for a flowery garden- this is not it. Best way to describe this would be “crisp beachey air” mixed with into a fresh produce section of fruits!! I know- I told you describing it is tricky! What do I mix this with, that all depends on the day/mood! Most often I mix with sexy graffiti and that was a perfume by Escada from x25yr ago- it is still manufactured in very small amounts… So, good luck but, that too have a citrus zing. I also mix with patchouly oil (Most often, as I’m a child born in the 70’s in San Francisco.. need I say more ?!) and on the fun fun days.. I mix with cotton candy by pink sugar! Trust me for the price, you cannot go wrong and a bottle of the last you a long time. It’s not perfume but body spray and I tend to put on more than less. But doing so gives longevity.

TOMMY BAHAMA CHANGED MANUFACTURERS, AND THIS SCENT!
By Beanage on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2015
I don't know what Tommy Bahama's new manufacturers did to their OLD fragrance? This is NOT the same. It's grossly sweet and cheap smelling. At the very least they need to tell customers that their fragrance has changed DRAMATICALLY and it is not the same as the old one. I am not sure why they are using the same name for this product? They need to rename it something totally different. It makes no sense and people will think it is the same fragrance as before. The other one smelled rich. I also received TONS of compliments and people would always ask what I was wearing. I can't wear this new fragrance. It's horrible. I had to give it away. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD SCENT! There are NOT a lot of fragrances out there that I like and the old Set Sail was SO WONDERFUL.
