Sunbeam Heating Pad with Hot & Cold Pack

I LOVE this heating pad! I hesitated making this purchase after reading some of the reviews that complained about this being a "warming" pad. They must have very tough skin! I can't keep this on the highest setting for very long without it getting uncomfortably hot! The gel pad heats very quickly in the microwave, so I'll be able to pop it in while I'm moving around the house. The Velcro strap is much more comfortable than the similar low back heating pad made by SoftHeat (Their belt/strap bunches). The belt/strap puts the heat right where you need it. In the instructions, Sunbeam says you can spritz it with water for moist heat! (UPS just delivered mine tonite, so I can't wait to try that tomorrow!) I suffer from RA & I can already tell you that this will be my new best friend! I like that it has a two-hour shut-off. I can get relief from my pain, get comfy, and fall asleep without worry... Thank you Sunbeam & Amazon! UPDATE: It's hard to believe I've been using this heating pad for 2 years. STILL looks brand new and works as well as the day I bought it. No wear & tear on the elastic, no stains, etc... I still LOVE it! It still heats quickly, and has enough settings that I can use it anywhere on my old body. Altho it's made for your back, it's really very versatile! I've used it on my back, tummy, hips, thighs, knees, shoulders, you name it. If it hurts, I've used it there! It's very comfortable. I forget I'm using it! If I doze off, it's automatic shutoff is a blessing. I never wake to having burned areas from having using it too long, like I always did with other heating pads... I'm tempted to buy another one, since I often have to steal it back from my Hubby & I worry that I'll never find another one that I like this well! If you're wondering which one to buy, this one is by far the best I've ever owned!
