Plastic Clips Set Of 4

If you've ever bought the bag clips sold in most grocery stores, you know they don't last long. I got frustrated with constantly having to replace them and went searching through Amazon for a sturdy alternative. When I first came across Whitmor 6027-3391-4 Plastic Clips, Set of 4 I was impressed by the rave reviews, but hesitated to buy them because of their small size. I was accustomed to using bag clips that were three to five inches long to close up chips and crackers. These Whitmore clips, at about 1 inch wide, didn't seem practical. So I just put them on my Wish List and decided to think about it. One month later, after having three more bag clips break, I came back to Amazon and purchased three sets of these clips, which come 4 to a set. And now I know why they receive so many rave reviews. They are VERY sturdy! I expect they will last for years. And they have so many more uses than traditional food bag clips. When I need to close a bag of crackers, I use two or three clips to seal the bag. But I have also used these clips to string a cord inside our camping tent, to clip a shopping list to the inside of my shoulder bag, to hold soft things secure as they are being glued, to hang wet clothing on a line outside and multiple other uses. These clips are always in use throughout the house, so I'm glad I bought them--and glad I bought 3 sets!
