Four Paws Magic Coat Grooming Brush for Cats & Dogs

Bought this for our new golden doodle, who needs to be brushed somewhat often. She does not fight it much. Brush has two sides, soft and bristles.

We only use the metal size. She loves a deep, deep brushing. I can brush her so rigorously that she has to dig her nails into the deck - or else I’ll scoot her across it! I cannot believe how much I have brushed her, and she still has hair coming out from the undercoat. It would have been interesting to start gathering the fur at the beginning. I’d be interested to see how much it weighed when I was done. The handle is great for 2 reasons - actually long enough for my hand to get a grip to brush deeply, and it’s round and shaped to receive an adult human hand. I’m going to buy a couple more, so we have them handy up stairs and down. Would be nice if they had other colors, just to make it easier to keep in the correct place.

Our cats enjoy a daily brushing. They especially enjoy the dual brushes, with one side having soft bristles and the other metal ones.

Didn’t do a good job with my puppies. The brush was to bendable for the price. It didn’t grip the hair like it should.

My dog came shaggy, and this just made her mats worse. After getting her groomed with a puppy cut this works OK, but I usually use the other brush that gets down to her skin in many close bristles instead of just skimming over the top or with super wide bristles. My dog has super soft teddy bear hair, a dog with rougher fur would be a better match.

Not the best product but it does leave my puppy's coat nicely brushed. Doesn't help with shedding.
