Perfect for the shoe obsessed

This thing is very sturdy, more than others I have had. As a shoe addict, I have had my trials with other organizers. Most break after too much time or the canvas just sags and collects dirt. Not this one! The top hanger is metal and very sturdy and each shoe compartment has a strong bottom board = no sagging! There are 30 compartments which means it holds about 30 pairs of shoes for women. I am able to fit 3 pairs of flat sandals in some compartments but some wedges/heels requires a slot for each shoe (2 compartments for one pair) because of their height. So it probably averages to holding 30. The reason I loved this so much is that it now restricts how many shoes I will let myself own (with the exception of boots stored elsewhere)

“B-” for structure; “C” for durability. I ordered this product to help organize the chaos of the “shoe closet” and made it a project for my 2 grandkids (8 & 5). When I ordered the hanging shoe organizer, I knew I would be putting kids size shoes in it. I wanted something with cubbies for each pair and would be durable for them to keep their shoes organized. This product works for their size. However… as you see in one of my pictures, it came apart very easily… and I had to discuss how they have to be careful and easy when taking out and putting in their shoes. A lot to ask of an 8 and 5 year olds. I don’t see this product lasting too long. I did sew the broken part together but with anything canvas… it’s subject to fray and pull apart. May have to decommission that cubby. Overall this is a good product… that won’t probably last long… perhaps if nobody touches it and or nobody is close to be “rough” when using. But the shoes are organized, off the floor, and easier for the kids to see their shoes and find them. I definitely couldn’t use this for adult size shoes and the organizer does take up space. I would have preferred one that hangs sideways, so the closet space could be used more efficiently. Ooh. And still going to need something for boots and bigger sized shoes. But that’s a project for another day.
