Major Upgrade from Dull Shaver Heads--Worth the Money.

I was slightly irritated that I liked this product so much. I have been using a Phillips Norelco Series 9000 for about 18 months and was still using the original shaving heads. While it was working fine for daily use, it really struggled if I had a couple of days worth of hair growth. It seemed like I was dragging the shaver across my face and neck for several minutes without making much progress. I broke down and paid the $48 for the replacement shaving heads. I had about three days worth of facial hair growth when the package arrived today. The replacement heads came with the little plastic tool to unlock and lock the heads in place so installation was easy. The new heads cut through the hair with ease. It even seemed to leave a relatively smooth shave. Quite an improvement over the dull shaving heads. I would recommend these if your shaver hasn't been performing like it used to.

Pleasure turned into Painful Shaving, DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY

I was hapily using my Philips Norelco S9000 machine from day 1 until I changed the replacement heads. I bought these replacement heads a while ago to have them ready. After about a year of using the original heads, i changed the replacement heads a month or 2 ago. The replacement heads didn't cut well, grabbed my beard and even caused my skin to blead several times. At the beginning I said probably the new heads may need couple of shaving to reach to its performance, but no.! Unfortunately it never gave one single good shave and it hurt so bad. Normally my skin is not sensitive at all with any kind of machine or blade, but this was a very unpleasent experience. I put the original heads back but I don't know what to do now. I don't know if it was only that package defective or all are like this. I'm hessitant to buy another one, even may need to change to another shawing machine other than Philips Norelco if I can't find a good solution, but I'm not willing to make the same mistake again buying this product.
