Great buy! Keeps beer cold! Damed during shipment!

First off, let me start by saying this is the best purchase I have made in a log time. We'll worth the money. The kegerator looks great and works great! The temperature gauge fluctuates a lot, but give you a good idea of inside temperature. Definitely keeps your beer cold! The only thing that pissed me off was the unit was damaged during shipping. Unit was double boxed, but UPS still managed to damage the unit. To get a new unit I would have had to pay for another unit and then shop back the old for credit....so I'm living with the dents.

Poor design, quality and value for the price

As the owner of 3 kegerators already I needed a 4th for a party on Saturday. It was Thursday and Amazon promised Saturday delivery. Amazon and FedEx came through with flying colors and the kegerator arrived on Saturday morning. As I was unpacking I could see immediately this unit did not have the robust design features and quality of my other kegerators. Non-standard cheap parts like the tower and the CO2 tank. At a 70 degree ambient the kegerator set on maximum would only cool to 41 degrees. It made me think the design engineer never actually used a kegerator on a regular basis or was just looking for minimum cost to maximize profit yield. For this price point there are much better design and quality feature machines in the market. I would pay $130 to $150 for this unit and use it as a throw-away.
