Update 5-6-19: Finally found a set of six deep melamine bowls similar to these at a warehouse type place. Bought TWO sets, just in case a good bowl breaks. I really like these bowls, as this style prevents stuff from flicking the ingredients out of the bowl if you're whipping something or stirring hard. Update: After about a year of use, the bowl that had been dropped onto the tile floor showed a crack that was blackened from stuff stuck in the crack. (mold?) This is WAAAY overpriced now from when I first bought it, and they DO BREAK. Nevertheless, since the shape is perfect and difficult to find (been looking for months) it is not patented, so maybe I should fly to China and get them to manufacture it there for me in volume and sell them here for a decent price. Very nice sizes. Light weight. Did not break when dropped on a tile floor. Dishwasher safe. Perfect for mixing. These are already my favorite bowls. It's just intuitively perfect for cooking/baking, "user friendly." Trust the reviewers here, they were correct, these are just nice bowls, easy to handle, perfect size for everyday baking like mixing up a cake mix, cookies, and so forth.
