and after almost 6 years the unit no longer reads temperature it's just stuck at 33

This is the second one of these that I have had. The first one about 2 years and quit. I bought a second one and reveived it 4-14-21. It quit today on 7-31-23. I changesd all of the batteries and followed the instructions. This is expensive to just last 2 years. Of course it comes with a one year warranty. I'm trying to decide what to try next.
